Privacy
Junkheap uses wallet and marketplace data to operate trading, profiles, watchlists, arena battles, moderation and transaction recovery.
Information used
We store wallet addresses, signed actions, optional handles, bios, avatar URLs and watchlists, reports you submit, and records of listings, offers and trades. We use this information to display your choices, verify requests, prevent abuse, moderate content and reconcile on-chain activity. The service also uses network addresses for rate limiting; hosting providers may keep operational logs.
Public and local data
Wallet addresses, transaction signatures and marketplace transactions on Gorbagana are public. Your chosen profile details may be visible to other visitors. Your browser stores wallet preferences, watchlist state and pending transaction details locally so the site can recover after a reload. Junkheap does not use that browser storage for advertising.
NFT Arena
To play in the arena you sign a message with your wallet (it is not a transaction), and the arena's game server gives your browser a short-lived session. The server reads which Mucklings your wallet holds. For a staked battle it keeps a record of the match (both wallet addresses, both armies, the seeds and the result) until the battle has been paid out or refunded. Per wallet address it also keeps a no-show mark after a missed deposit, which keeps that wallet out of battles for a few minutes, and a small count of who had the edge in past battles, which it uses when it matches closely rated armies. For battles that were paid out it keeps, per wallet address and month, the wallet's trophies, wins and losses, with the name and picture link of its strongest Muckling in its latest army, and shows them publicly on the leaderboard. When you stake as you start searching, it keeps the search (your wallet address, the mode, the army you chose, the Gorigins on your towers in Tower Defense and when the search ends) until it is paired or refunded, and it keeps a battle fought while you were away, and a note of a search it ended, until you have seen it (at most two weeks). So that it can be shown to you the moment you are back, before you sign in, anyone who knows your wallet address can load such a battle (both wallet addresses, both armies, the seeds and the result) until then. It uses network addresses to limit connections and sign-in attempts.
Your opponent is shown your wallet address when a match is made, and your army once both stakes are in. The stakes, both wallet addresses, the seeds and the payout of a battle are recorded on Gorbagana and are public. Your browser stores your arena session, your battle seeds, records of your deposits (so that a stake can be recovered after a reload), recent matches, which battles fought while you were away you have watched, and your arena preferences.
Bulk transfers
Bulk transfer works in your browser: the recipient address you type is used to prepare the transaction and goes to the Gorbagana network with it, like any other transaction. Junkheap does not receive or store it.
Other services and retention
Hosting, blockchain RPC and NFT metadata services receive the requests needed to serve the site. We retain marketplace and moderation records as needed to operate the service and preserve transaction integrity. You can update optional profile details in the site or ask about removal of off-chain information. Public blockchain records cannot be erased by Junkheap.
